The love radiating on the day of Robin and Nick’s Oceanside Beach Wedding was something that will stick with me for a long time. They tied the knot on a Thursday at Tyson Beach and Park with about 120 friends and family members, friends and family that absolutely adore this couple.
It was an overcast day, but the weather was perfect. Not too cold and not too hot. Robin is meticulous and planned her entire wedding. She also didn’t want to be seen by Nick ahead of time. So she arrived at the ceremony, barefoot and striking — a beach bohemian goddess — and was revealed to her guests and her husband-to-be with the releasing of two bouquets of balloons in her weddings colors at the top of the ceremony aisle.
Their ceremony was so sweet. Although neither of them are Jewish, they were married by their friend who is a Rabbi, and he was a total hoot and included a universal tradition of drinking of the wine, with a little mazel tov at the end. These little markers were perfect symbols of these two souls joining together in holy matrimony, and everyone wanted to capture the moment. Since they are from Wisconsin, not everyone could make it out. So, they provided a live stream of the wedding for those who could not make it! How cool is that?
I feel super lucky to have gotten to know Robin and Nick this year. I have known Robin for a couple of years through a mutual friend, but got to know her and Nick when I met them at Hello Betty’s for their Oceanside Pier Engagement Session. They were equally as cute and in love on their wedding day as they were at their engagement session, but there was one big difference — Nick could not stop smiling.
After the ceremony, we moved to the Green Dragon Tavern where a reception was waiting — incredible food, a variety of libations, and karaoke, which is by far the most unique and fun things I have ever seen a couple provide at a wedding, and it was so easy because DJ Julie was absolutely amazing!
Robin and Nick, thank you for trusting me to capture this important moment in your lives together. I feel so honored to have been apart of the community who gets to welcome you into this world as a married couple. You two are #relationshipgoals and I hope this sneak peek reminds you all the feels from this very special day.
